“We've been collaborating for a long time. We devised a few pairs that consolidates into one. In the past, we made one where the lenses open to the side. But they were unstable when it was windy. ... The visors that change color from "2001: A Space Odyssey" would be cool but hard to achieve.”
Kojima said he had been collaborating for a long time with the French brand J.F. Rey to combine prescription glasses and sunglasses. He recalled a previous design whose lenses opened to the sides but proved unstable in windy conditions, and he noted that visors able to change color like those in 2001: A Space Odyssey would be great, though hard to achieve.
