Direct quote 2004
“I've said over the years in interviews throughout the world, "Just like the human body is 70% water, I'm 70% film". While this is a figure of speech, there is some truth to it. I learned, or rather was taught, much from film, including things I didn't learn in school or from my parents.”
What it documents
Kojima explains the origin of his famous biographical phrase: for years he has repeated in interviews worldwide that, just as the human body is 70% water, he is 70% film. He adds that film taught him things he did not learn in school or from his parents.
