Kojima dedicated the season finale to anniversary albums he keeps buying: 35-, 40- or 45-year deluxe editions of the music of his youth. He explained his mechanism: he has a lot of duplicate copies but ends up buying releases if they include a bonus track. He bought an edition that came with a tote bag, and last year the Greatest Hits came with a T-shirt so he bought that too. He said he wouldn’t call it collecting, but if there is some sort of bonus item he thinks his generation is materialistic and he wants his albums to come with something — the same as Blu-rays that include exclusive footage, a pamphlet or liner notes.
