“I am subscribed to Apple Music, where I listen to new songs and then buy CDs and vinyl records. ... Liner notes are a must. ... I spend most of my income on releases like these. I used to spend hours at Tower Records and vinyl shops”
Kojima said he used Apple Music to discover new songs and then bought CDs and vinyl records because he wanted physical copies, their liner notes and the best listening quality. He recalled spending hours in Tower Records and vinyl shops before buying something; now he resorted to streaming because he was too busy and CD shops had become rare. He also said he spent most of his income on those kinds of releases.
