Direct quote 2019-10-30
“I first met Hideo when Guillermo del Toro called me and said, 'Hey, there's a guy who's going to call you and wants to do a video game with you. Just say yes.' I said, 'Who is he?' And he said, 'Trust me, just say yes.'”
— Norman Reedus
What it documents
Norman Reedus said he met Kojima because Guillermo del Toro phoned him to say that a man would call about doing a video game and that he should say yes without asking; Reedus accepted only because he trusted del Toro, who had given him his SAG card and his first acting job.
