“We used like 500 or 600 eggs, but we couldn't throw them out, so the staff was going to eat them.”
What it documents

Regarding MGS4 (2007; during the Hide-chan Radio era, when they were all very good friends), Kojima recalled the assignment and the most absurd parts of the shoot: Sunny, a little girl with a slight stutter who hardly speaks. Kojima said voice actresses often play young boys but he wanted a girl with a slight stutter and offered the role to the actress; it was a major challenge and they recorded the part many times. He also described filming Sunny’s fried eggs as very difficult in live action — they used about 500 or 600 eggs and could not throw them away, so the staff were going to eat them, although they could not actually eat them all. Kojima summed up the spirit of the time by saying they thought this would be the last Metal Gear Solid, so they went all out and were doing all kinds of crazy stuff, not afraid of anything.

“You played a young girl named Sunny. She has a bit of a stutter. […] But I wanted to make it a girl with a slight stutter, and I offered you the role, but this was pretty challenging, wasn't it? We shot it so many times. […] That was really hard to shoot in live action. […] Although we couldn't actually eat them all. […] Looking back now, we were doing all kinds of crazy stuff. We weren't afraid of anything.”
