“Some people from around the world have started to cosplay as me. So, I've been considering switching to contacts. And maybe shave my beard.”
Kojima commented that some people from around the world had started to cosplay as him and added that he was considering switching to contacts and maybe shaving his beard.
Kojima wrote that shaving every morning upon waking was a pleasant way to start the day, and that although he now wears a neat three-day stubble he still keeps that morning ritual of tidying it immediately after getting up.
“Um, on another note, with the current technology, we can't shoot hair. So all we can do is take reference shots, and we later punch in one hair at a time.”
“The game industry took a toll on my eyes. I started wearing glasses when I was about 30.”
“I made a cameo appearance in Episode 11 of TBS’s Sunday Theater drama, “VIVANT.” For the role, I took off my glasses, slicked my hair back, got into costume, and gave it my best, but it was decided that I looked “too young” to be the Superintendent General of the Metropolitan Police Department, and that “there are no real-life examples of one with a beard.” So they adjusted my appearance with CGI. See if you can spot me.”
“I don't like playing myself, though. That happens a lot.”
