On July 27, 2026 Kojima wrote on his English account that he had made a cameo in Episode 11 of VIVANT, TBS’s Sunday Theater drama. For the role he took off his glasses, slicked his hair back and got into costume, but it was decided that he looked “too young” to be the Superintendent General of the Metropolitan Police Department, and that “there are no real-life examples of one with a beard”, so they adjusted his appearance with CGI. Recalling the cameo on KOJI10, he also said that the costume was clipped at the back and that he had been asked to look even more sinister.
