Kojima told Kosinski he felt a direct debt: the digitally rejuvenated Jeff Bridges in Tron: Legacy inspired him to do the same with Lindsay Wagner in Death Stranding. He said Lindsay Wagner, the star of The Bionic Woman, had been his favourite actress growing up, he wanted her in the game, and when he saw what was done with Jeff Bridges he thought to do the same with Lindsay — which he then did in Death Stranding, and he wanted Kosinski to know that.
