Tres días después del aviso de SIE, Kojima informó a los responsables de Physint, redujo el equipo y trasladó a parte de sus miembros a OD mientras buscaba otro socio. Temía que la gente se marchara, pero afirmó que nadie abandonó el estudio y que el equipo siguió preparando con entusiasmo el material para presentar Physint.
