He said he had kept quiet before out of fear of causing them trouble if he addressed the rumours. He also expressed a blunt complaint about Twitter: the hoaxes people send with an @ feel as if they are being put directly into his mailbox, and he wishes people would stop doing that; complaining is fine in your own living room, but not where he can hear it. He said those messages arrive from all over the world and are mentally exhausting, that he does not look at everything but if he sees it he ends up reading it, and then he feels pretty down.
