Anecdote 2022-09
“We follow each other on Twitter, and he seemed to have played my game too. He said, hope you enjoy my movie. So, if you can come on the show as a guest, that would be great.”
What it documents
Kojima recounted the origin of his contact with Peele: he tweeted that he wanted to see NOPE—he had not seen it yet—and received a message from Jordan Peele, whom they follow each other on Twitter and who also seemed to have played Kojima’s game and told him he hoped Kojima would enjoy his movie. In that same episode Kojima invited Peele on the show as a guest, and the visit materialized in episodes 5 and 6.
