Kojima partially confirmed the project with Woodkid, saying he could not reveal which project it was although he believed people could guess. He said a song fit perfectly in a particular scene, so he asked Woodkid for permission to use it. Kojima added that people could tell from Twitter that Woodkid and he were often going out to eat, that they held a video call, and that their ideas kept growing until they decided to do it together.
